With members from various spheres of Public Relations, PRSI Ahmedabad Chapter has also been honoured and recognised with various awards. 

The Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) is a leading professional organisation formed by the community of Public Relations (PR) Practitioners and Communications professionals in 1958. Operational across some 27 chapters across India, PRSI empowers its members through a series of exclusive networking events, professional development programmes and leadership opportunities.

The PRSI Ahmedabad chapter formally came into existence in 1982. Back then, it was known as ‘PRSI Gujarat chapter’ because apart from Ahmedabad, other cities of Gujarat such as Vadodara, Bhavnagar and Rajkot were also nerve centres for activities. Over the past four decades, PRSI Ahmedabad chapter has evolved into one of the most active chapters in India. 

Ahmedabad chapter has relentlessly dedicated itself towards raising the standards of PR practice, create awareness around it, improve its quality and efficiency, develop a more organised and structured approach to PR and build new paradigms in PR practice, to cater to the needs of discerning local and national corporations and institutions. 

With 40 active members from various spheres of Public Relations namely PR agencies, corporate communications as well as students and academia, PRSI Ahmedabad chapter has also been honoured and recognised with various awards. PRSI Ahmedabad chapter was conferred upon the Best Chapter Award for three consecutive years i.e. in 2020, 2021 and 2022 by the PRSI National Body.
